Mrs. Moreno is a first year teacher at Mid Valley. She is not, however, new to the school. She first began working with the school when she became involved with the PTO 8 years ago at the time her oldest son, Kevin started PK here. She enjoyed the Christian education her son received so much that she enrolled her second child, Tiany, when she turned three. Her love for the school grew so that when her third child became old enough to start school, she enrolled him also. Read more

Mrs. Blessington has been involved in preschool education for more than 30 years, including 18 years at MVCS. She has 3 degrees in Elementary/Early Childhood Education and has lived and worked with children in New York, Maryland, Mississippi and Nevada. Besides enjoying spending her days with young children, she believes a good preschool experience is a child's foundation for a successful education.

My name is Rebecca Luksa or Ms. Luksa. I am MVCS's Kindergarten teacher and must admit I can't wait to meet my new class. I am no stranger to teaching as I received my Education degree and license in 2004. Since then I have been blessed to work with various grades within a private Christian environment. What a priceless gift, especially in these times where it seems the name of our Lord and God has been desensitized. Read more

Mrs. Donahoe is a self-proclaimed "life-long learner". From her days in elementary and high school here in the Valley to her years at Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches until today, her love of learning has not waned. Fortunately for MVCS, Mrs. Donahoe shares her excitement about learning with our fifth and sixth grade students every day. Knowing that Math is a subject that most people proclaim to be their least favorite, she strives to teach it a way that her students are able to not only grasp the concepts, but enjoy them. Mrs. Read more

Mrs. Mullins began her career in education in the public school system, but when it was time for her oldest son to start Kindergarten, she decided to help establish a Christian School in her home church. It was her desire for her children to be able to obtain a quality education, which included character building truths from the Word of God. That first school was established in 1985, and Mrs. Mullins has been involved in Christian education ever since. In 1998, she accepted the position of director at Mid Valley Christian School, and has enjoyed her time here very much. Read more

She has experience overseeing the after school care program, and spent a year working in our Kinder class as a teacher's assistant. I came to the Rio Grande Valley after graduating from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches (East Texas - its close to Lufkin, Crockett) in January of 1967. I came to Weslaco and taught a self contained sixth grade class at Sam Houston Elem. The next year I taught seventh grade math.
