Although this is Mrs. Desiga's first year teaching PK-4, she has been employed at Mid Valley Christian School for several years.  She has experience overseeing the after school care program, and spent a year working in our Kinder class as a teacher's assistant.  In addition, she is very active in her church as a teacher, and as a valuable member of the Vacation Bible School team.   Read more

Dear Parents,

Our short week was a very busy one!  The children were definitely rejuvenated from their three day weekend, and were back in full force Tuesday morning.  We enjoyed a really great chapel on Wednesday morning.  Mrs. Luksa led us in some fun, new praise songs, and Mr. De Palma brought a Bible message about going to God to ask for forgiveness of our sins.  Our chapel theme for this school  year is “I Will Praise God!”

Our first PTO meeting of the year will be held on Tuesday, September 1st at 6:30 in the school assembly room.  We will be making preliminary plans for our annual Fall Fest.  Please plan to attend!!

School pictures will be taken on Tuesday, September 8th.  The photographer will be here first thing in the morning to begin, so please have your child here by 8:00 ready to take a photo!

The new school year will soon begin, and we have returned to more normal office hours. Starting Wednesday, Aug. 12, we will be in the office from 8:00 - 4:00. Saturday, August 15 we will be at the school from 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. for FINAL REGISTRATION. This is the time to come fill out final paperwork and pay any fees that are due.

Mrs. Mullins will hold a brief orientation for families who are new to the school from 11:00 - 11:30 a.m., so please plan to attend so that you will be clear on school policies and be ready for a smooth start to the school year!
