Dear Parents, Wow, so much is happening here at MVCS that I need to send out another newsletter this week!  First, CONGRATULATIONS to Second Grade for winning the ice cream party from PTO for bringing the most BOXTOPS for Education!  We are going to continue this program, so keep sending those BOXTOPS in!  More rewards will also be coming for those who participate! Secondly, if your child is in FIRST – ELEVENTH grades, they will be taking STANFORD TESTS beginning next Tuesday.  Please be sure they get extra rest this weekend and that they eat a good breakfast all next week.  Purchase good #2 pencils and a pink pearl or other such eraser for them to use so that all corrections can be erased completely.  We will have a KICK OFF assembly on Monday to encourage all of our students to do their best.  PK and Kinder students will be rewarded on Friday for their cooperation in being very, very quiet all week.   PUNCTUALITY is very important.  Students who arrive after 8:10 will NOT be allowed in the class but will wait in the foyer until the teacher comes to get them after the first test is complete.  PLEASE COME EARLY IF YOU ARE AT ALL CONCERNED THAT YOU MIGHT NOT BE ON TIME.  NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. A BIG thank you goes out to Mr. TURNER (Trevor’s Dad) for making our yard look so FABULOUS.  We have gotten so many compliments about how good it looks thanks to Mr. Turner!  You are a blessing!!! Finally, MOMS, please make plans to join us on Friday, May 7th for MUFFINS FOR MOM.  We will begin at 7:30 and end at 8:30!  Please come enjoy some quality time with your child! HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!
