Send to friendDear Parents, It has been another great week at Mid Valley. We are very proud of the job our staff is doing with your children, and proud of our students as well. At assembly the students are being encouraged to put forth their best effort this semester in everything they do. It is our desire to instill a spirit of excellence into the children by reminding them that God gives us the ability to do well. As scheduled, the School Board met Monday night and PTO met Tuesday night. We are so thankful to these parents for going the extra mile to make our school run smoothly! Both groups spend hours working to make Mid Valley the best school it can be and we all benefit from their efforts! Hopefully we can get more participation in the future. We have received some Board nomination forms, but still need more. Every parent is encouraged to become involved with PTO in whatever capacity they are able! CALENDAR CORRECTION – I made a mistake on the yearly calendar in February. The calendar we issued says we will be out for President’s Day on February 8th. That is incorrect. President’s Day is actually February 15th, so we will not have school then. The School Board will be having its monthly meeting on Monday, February 8th! Sorry for any inconvenience this error may have caused! It is time to begin work on the school yearbook! If anyone has experience or thinks they would enjoy helping, please let me know. All of the work is done online, so it is quite easy to learn! It could even be done from your home if you would like to help! Let me know as soon as possible, so we can begin work! Have a great weekend and we will see you on Monday!
