10/29/09 Dear Parents,               As I promised, we are sending home raffle tickets to sell in conjunction with our Fall Festival.  As you can see, the raffle offers a first prize of a 42” LCD TV, second prize is a Dell Inspiron Laptop PC, and third prize is a large John Deere Wagon.  Tickets sell for $20.  We are asking our parents to participate by selling tickets to their family and friends, however, if you do not wish to help, please return the tickets immediately so others may sell them.  The PTO is asking that any money for raffle tickets and any unsold extra tickets be turned in next Friday, Nov. 6th.     FALL FESTIVAL UPDATE!!   CORRECTION:  Week before last I asked that each family bring a cake for the cake walk. However, the PTO is requesting that each family in PK 3, PK 4, and Kinder bring a cake for the cakewalk.  Families in 1st through 12th are asked to bring two 12 packs of soda.  First and Second please bring COKE, Third/Fourth bring DR. PEPPER, Fifth/Sixth bring SPRITE, and ACE bring DIET COKE, DIET DR. PEPPER or DIET SPRITE. These may be brought in at any time.  These will be used at the food booth.   We are still asking that each family bring two 2-liter sodas for the ring toss, and a large bag of candy for prizes.   Cake donations need to be brought in either Friday, Nov. 13, in the afternoon or Saturday morning between 10:00 a.m. and noon.               Bracelets will be sold beginning next week for $15.  The bracelets allow unlimited use of the bouncers, slides, and hayride.   Tickets will be sold at the gate which will be used for booths and food.    This may seem like LOTS of work, but believe me, it will be well worth it when we see our students and their families enjoying themselves!                School portraits will be taken on Tuesday, November 17th.  If you want your child to take a retake photo due to absence on the original date or your dissatisfaction with the other photo taken, please contact the office for a retake order form.  These forms must be turned in beforehand so we will know you wish to have your child’s photo taken on that date.
