Muffins for moms was a great hit! The children were thrilled by their parents participation. Thank you to those who were abe to make it.......And Teacher's appreciation week was so nice! I received some wonderful gifts from you as well as from the board and PTO. Made it a very special week.......Now we are down to days of school left. The children are bouncing off the walls (almost) with excitement of summer. Many had completely 'forgotten' the rules we spent the whole year learning...:\ but now they've been reminded that school isn't over YET and they still have to keep it under control. :0 This week will be the final tests for most everything as well as homework. Spelling test will be moved to Wednesday.....Monday and Tuesday will be clearing out days, so they should bring a plastic store bag...
WEdnesday we are planning an end of the year party at Rancho El Charco. The children wanted to do the whole program again and end with a swim party. Those having summer birthdays will be celebrated at that time. If you'd like to provide something for that, let me know. Two parents will be getting pizza for everyone. They will need 8.00 for the Charco, and need to bring towels and swimsuits..(can be worn under clothing).
The last day of school will be half day and we will be presenting honor roll certificates as well as a few extra certificates in the classroom.
